Abstract. The paper is a short review on function of heat shock proteins. This is a preliminary bibliographic study with aim of documentation in the project PN2 51-056 (project supported by ANCS Romania).

Rezumat. Lucrarea de fata este un studiu, de tip compilatie, privind functia proteinelor de șoc termic. Acest studiu preliminar, bibliografic, a avut ca scop o documentare prealabila in cadrul proiectului PN2 51-056 (proiect finantat si sustinut de către ANCS Romania).

Abstract. The paper is a short communication on the cold-water tolerance in Trematomus bernacchii and the implication of heat shock proteins. This is a preliminary bibliographic study with aim of documentation in the project PN2 51-056 (project supported by ANCS Romania).

Rezumat. Lucrarea de fată este un studiu de documentare privind toleranta la temperaturi foarte scazute a speciei Trematomus bernacchii si implicatiile proteinelor de soc termic in rezistenta la frig. Acest studiu preliminar, bibliografic, a avut ca scop o documentare prealabila in cadrul proiectului PN2 51-056 (proiect finantat si sustinut de catre ANCS Romania).

Abstract. The current paper is a compilation of the most recent bibliographic sources regarding the highly stenobiont group of the living fossils named coelacanths. The paper brings into light a few molecular data regarding the fact Latimeria menadoensis and Latimeria chalumnae contain intronless HSP70genes encoding HSP70 proteins archetypal of known HSP70s (Modisakeng 2006).

Rezumat. Lucrarea de fată este o culegere a celor mai recente date asupra stenobiontului grup de fosile vii, numiti coelacanti. Articolul pune accent pe cateva rezultate moleculare cu privire la faptul că Latimeria menadoensis și Latimeria chalumnae detin gene HSP70 fara introni, codificatoare a unor proteine HSP70 care reprezintă arhetipul proteinelor actuale cunoscute HSP70 (Modisakeng 2006).
